The Respecting Seniors Network is a group of committed individuals, groups, businesses and organisations in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula area.
Our vision is to live and work in a community which respects older people and recognises that people of all ages deserve to live free from violence in all its forms.
We hope to create change in our community’s attitudes towards older people; with the aim of stopping elder abuse before it occurs.
This initiative is funded by the Victorian Government which has funded ten elder abuse prevention networks across the state. We acknowledge and thank the Victorian Government for supporting this work.
The Respecting Seniors Network will be coordinating and supporting a range of local activities to achieve our vision. To achieve our goals, we need to work together.
